1/ A sufficient amount of each lot metal used in the construction of the curettes may be selected for chemical analysis in lieu of sample curettes, provided lot identity has been maintained and can be demonstrated to the Government.
2/ Acceptance number shall be zero for all sample sizes.
Tests. Tests shall be conducted to determine compliance with specification requirements. Where feasible, the same sample shall be used for the determination of two or more test characteristics.
Chemical analysis. In the absence of certificates of quality, chemical analysis of the individual components of the curette shall be determined in accordance with method 111 of FED-STD-151.
Dimensions. Dimensions shall be measured using a shadowgraph, measuring microscope, or other suitable device capable of measuring these dimensions with the accuracy specified.
