Upon removal, no corrosion shall be present after lightly wiping with a gauze sponge.
Elongation and rupture. The test for elongation shall be determined by manually stretching 2.0 inches of webbing to a minimum of 3.8 inches. Any rupture of rubber strands shall be determined both during and after the test. Any evidence of rupture shall be cause for rejection.
