The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description as a replacement for Federal Specification GG-E-1161 which is cancelled.
The complete requirements for procuring Elevator, Dental, Surgical shall consist of this document and Commercial Item Description A-A-54270.
Salient characteristics:
In addition to the salient characteristics of A-A-54270 the following shall apply.
Design and dimensions. This commercial item description sheet covers the following root elevators:

The design and dimensions of the root elevators shall be in accordance with the applicable drawing and purpose listed in the table herein.
